Dry, Oak, Spice
Three Shades of Pinot is a polished little tour of Martinborough through three expressions of the same grape.
From a crisp, grown-up Rosé to a richly textured Pinot Gris and a vibrant, savoury Pinot Noir, this collection showcases the elegance and versatility that Escarpment does so well.
Collection includes:
2 x Escarpment Martinborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2025
Awarded 91/100 Points & 4 Stars: Stephen Wong, The Real Review
"Onion-skin colour. Light flavours with watermelon, orange and tangy cranberry. Dry with tight acidity, resulting in a linear and crisp style. The light-weight fruit tapers down to a clean, floral finish. Delicate and perfumed, this is grown-up Rosé for the summer months" Stephen Wong, The Real Review

Crafted to be enjoyed young, this Rosé is perfect for a warm spring or summer evening — utterly refreshing and effortlessly moreish.
Alc: 13%
2 x Escarpment Martinborough Pinot Gris 2025
Awarded 92/100 Points & 4 Stars: Jane Skilton, Master of Wine, The Real Review
"There's apple crumble, baked pear and sweet baking spice on the nose and as the wine sits in the glass these aromas become more layered and intense. The palate has lovely of ripeness of fruit, the flavours fleshy and juicy but still retaining a succulent line of acidity" Jane Skilton, Master of Wine, The Real Review

Food Pairing: Enjoy as an aperitif or with a soft cheese board in the late afternoon sun. Drink young for vibrancy or cellar for up to five years to develop greater depth and richness.
2 x Escarpment Noir Martinborough Pinot Noir 2023
Bright garnet in colour the wine opens with spice and savoury characters, which are the hallmark of Martinborough Pinot Noir. This is an elegant expression with red fruit accents, reminiscent of fresh summer berries. There is also an autumnal feel to the wine, with turned earth, sumac and dark chocolate. The palate is taught and juicy, with forest floor and more of the savoury nuances coming through. It is crunchie and fresh, with a vibrancy and softness that is carried by silky tannin. This is a wine that is created with early drinking in mind but will reward with a few years in the cellar.
Food Pairing: Serve at 16°C and enjoy with a wide array of red meat and rich pasta dishes, or as a perfect accompaniment to a barbeque.
