Description

  • Dry style
  • Lemon sorbet
  • Turkish delight
  • Fresh strawberries

"This is delicate and elegantly charming with white flesh peach, watermelon and lemon sorbet aromas on the nose, followed by a finely focused palate that's lingering and mouth-watering. Bright and juicy, offering fabulous drinking" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2020

Light coral pink in colour. Aromas reminiscent of freshly picked strawberries and Turkish delight. The light bodied palate captivates with more Turkish delight, a fine texture and fresh, dry finish.

Situated on the banks of the Murray River, the vineyard produces grapes perfect for fresh, varietal wines. Gentle pressing of the grapes releases perfectly coloured juice for this Rosé. The juice is fermented using a combination of cultured and naturally occurring yeast to produce a range of fresh and vibrant flavours.

A dry winter and spring were followed by a hot December, coupled with controlled irrigation, allowed the vines to grow their protective canopies. Mild days and cool nights through late January and February contributed to wonderful freshness and flavours reflected in this Rosé.

The Vegan Wine Project is about shaking off what we thought we knew to make room for fresh ideas to grow, creating these wines from the ground up. By removing extra processes, we added so much more to the wine. More flavour, more texture, more purpose.

Food Pairing: Enjoy with tomato and capsicum paella or a salad of fresh fennel, pink grapefruit, pomegranate and mint.
