Description

Dry, Pear, Spice

"Delightfully fruited and elegantly expressed with Gala apple, Asian pear, floral, and subtle spice aromas on the nose. It's equally appealing in the mouth, displaying succulent fruit flavours with silky texture and fine acidity, making it immediately appealing. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2025

Scale_-_Dry

This wine has lovely, lifted aromas of peach, apricot and pears. These come through in the flavours as well, complemented by a bit of spice and a fine balance of acidity making it just off dry. The texture is smooth and weighty, leaving a lasting impression which makes the wine very appealing with or without food.

The grapes were picked when they were fully ripe and reached their most intense flavours. Machine-harvested in the cool of the early morning, the grapes were taken to the winery where the stems are removed and the grapes were pressed. The juice was then chilled and settled in stainless steel tanks before a specially selected yeast was added to enhance the wine’s fresh and fruity characters during fermentation. After a little more time in tank the wine was blended and bottled.

Food Pairing: Delicious as a glass on its own, or lovely to accompany with all sorts of dishes from nibbles to pasta, Asian-style dishes, chicken and pork.
