The wine displays ruby red colours in the glass, with purple hues accompanied by aromas of ripe plums and subtle hints of black olive. A beautifully rich and full-bodied Merlot displaying ripe plum flavours with a generous mouth feel and a soft subtle finish.

Sourced from vineyards in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales, the parcels of fruit were in excellent condition following great vintage conditions. The fruit was crushed, destemmed and fermented at cooler temperatures, before being blended and stabilised to produce the best possible product.

In the winery, a cheeky little pig started to make a name for himself. Random mischievous acts were being encountered. Often accompanied by a glimpse of a curly tailed behind, scrambling away with the cutest of little snorts. The winemakers could not help but love this little character; so much so that they named a wine after him. Be assured, like the Shy Pig, this wine will be equally adored.
