The Penelope Radburnd range was founded with one clear purpose, to push the boundaries of our traditional Radburnd wines. We still aim to celebrate New Zealand’s cool climate viticulture while bringing a second generation’s perspective to varieties and styles.

"Ripe, fresh, youthful varietal with a pure fruited bouquet of sweet green pear and yellow apple, there's a whisper of lees adding complexity, then scents of clay, sone, simple spice and barrel. On the palate a youthful expression, taut and new with plenty of acidity and bite, then flavours of citrus and pomaceous fruits, some lemon flesh and grapefruit. A whisper of tropical melon as well. New and fresh, balanced and well made with best drinking from mid to late 2026 through 2029+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Feb 2026
A with vibrant white peach, ripe melon, and a touch of lemon zest. An underlying layer of wet stone and subtle honeycomb. This wine was barrel fermented for added complexity.
