This Pinot Gris shows great fruit purity with ripe pear, citrus, and roasted hazelnut on the nose. A full, textural palate offers ripe fruit flavour with a dry, powerful finish. Aromatic, dry, and textural, this elegant Pinot Gris pairs well with oily fish like salmon or tuna, avocado, and spicy flavours.

Grown on a sheltered east-facing slope, the Pinot Gris is trellised to a vertical shoot positioned system with moderate fruit exposure to promote clean and ripe fruit. The two clones are picked separately, sometimes in multiple passes to achieve the desired flavour profile.

Overall, the 2025 vintage was an excellent, even growing season. Favourable spring weather allowed successful flowering in most blocks, resulting in the best crop levels since 2022. Moderate rainfall in December and January supported healthy canopies heading into a very dry harvest season. Dry, sunny weather through February and March allowed each block to be picked at optimum ripeness, with great flavour definition and distinct character across the blocks.

Crafted with care, this Pinot Gris is hand-picked, hand-sorted, and whole bunch pressed to preserve purity and finesse. Both free-run juice and pressings are blended to build depth and complexity. Fermentation takes place in seasoned barriques, guided mostly by wild (indigenous) yeasts with a touch of cultured strains for balance. A natural malolactic fermentation may occur, adding softness and texture. After blending, the wine rests on fine lees for a couple of months to bring harmony and richness before bottling.
