We are delighted to bag this double Gold Medal winning rich, spicy Réserve Côtes du Rhône, particularly thrilling in another tasty Rhône vintage. It is a classic velvety Grenache, enhanced with a little peppery, blackberry rich Syrah. Well ripened in the warm sunshine of 2017, and very moreish – Rhône red at its most appealing best.

Awarded Gold Medal: Concours International de Lyon 2019
Awarded Gold Medal: Gilbert & Gaillard 2018

From another great vintage for Bordeaux, this is a double Gold medal claret from a family domaine. Made from mostly Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, Château Pradeau Mazeau is a tasty everyday claret with lots of appealing ripe fruit.
If you’ve ever thought clarets were a bit stand offish, this double Gold medal claret will convert you. Ripe, velvety and brimful of plum and cassis, it’s a very moreish Bordeaux from the family property and a 5-Star vintage. The property’s vineyards are composed of clay and limestone, a combination Merlot loves, with a favourable southern exposure that ensures luscious ripeness and concentration in the grapes. Philippe Mazeau produce a lush, fruit forward blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc intended for immediate enjoyment. Elegant, yet supple and fruity, this classic wine is an ideal partner for roast chicken and richly flavoured casseroles. For now – let the wine breathe beforehand.
Bordeaux is one of the world's largest and most famous winemaking regions, producing wines that range from 'everyday drinking' to some of the most luxurious, exotic, and expensive on the planet. Château Pradeau Mazeau is an excellent example of the great value, great drinking wines coming out of Bordeaux today.
