Sweet notes of pear and red apple on the nose meet a fabulous tropical twist of ripe bananas in syrup. Followed by a palate of rich caramel toffee notes with mandarin orange, vanilla and honey dew melon. Finishing citrusy and delicate, well balanced and exceptionally smooth.

At The Glenlivet they are always looking at new ways to explore different flavours to break old whisky conventions. After experimenting with Cognac casks in the past, it seemed only natural that they would set their sights on other cask experiments and rum barrels were next. The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is The Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky that has been selectively finished in Caribbean Rum barrel. By bringing rum barrels and Scotch together for the first time in our history, they have brought some bold and tropical Caribbean flavours to their traditional Speyside style.

Introducing a single malt with a bold, tropical twist. To create whisky with a tropical feel, their makers finished a portion of their smooth whisky in barrels that previously held Caribbean rum. The result is a well balanced and exceptionally smooth whisky. Single malt, meet summer.

Can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, topped with Coconut water or in a Mai Tai.
