Pale gold in colour with notes of citrus fruit with hints of sweet orange on the nose. Flavours of zesty orange, pear, toffee apples and a long, creamy, smooth finish.

The Glenlivet has been distilled for pleasure since 1824. Their founder, George Smith, believed whisky as the ultimate pleasure should be made unhurried, as time and care created the highest quality and flavoursome product. George’s innovative thinking, technique and the best ingredients created a whisky that set the standard for the region of Speyside.

Boasting the classic flavours of The Glenlivet bound up in a creamy, smooth texture, this expression is their tribute to the one who started it all. Using a method by founder George Smith, the whisky is matured in a selection of traditional and American first-fill oak casks. It is then combined with American first-fill oak barrels, which have never been used to mature whisky before. Selective use of these casks gives this single malt a well-balanced sweet and smooth taste. Its flavour is sprinkled with citrus fruity tones, complementing its pale gold colour.
