Description

Celebrate from Spain to Italy with this classic Cava and Prosecco pack. These are perfect aperitif wines, or serve with light salads & starters.

Collection includes:

2 x Fontessa Prosecco Spumante Brut NV (Italy)

Fresh and fruity Prosecco with aromas of citrus and green apple. The palate has ripe grapey characters, zesty acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.

From selected parcels of Glera grapes grown northeast of Treviso. Hand harvested at optimum ripeness. Gentle pneumatic pressing followed by slow, cool fermentation in stainless steel. Second fermentation in tank, lasting 4 weeks.

Food Pairing: Perfect aperitif wine, or serve with light salads and starters.

Pale yellow with greenish reflections in the glass, Vallformosa Cava is a bright sparkling wine with fine persistent bubbles. Good aromatic intensity of fruity aromas, including green apple and fresh herbs like fennel welcome the nose. These fruiter elements also combine with notes of white flowers and citrus in the bouquet to offer complexity. The palate is balanced and dry while soft, resulting in well balanced acidity and a fruity aftertaste.

Very pale pink cherry. Fine, persistent bubbles and abundant formation of rosaries and dense crown. Clean and bright. On the nose aromas of red fruits like cherries, strawberries and blackberries are presented. Also appearing floral aromas of roses and notes of undergrowth. The palate is intense, fresh, large and persistent with hints of red fruits. Very fresh and lingering finish with hints of strawberry and raspberry.
