Bright fruit flavours with vibrant acidity
Wine Orbit
Description
Apricot, Dry, Lime
"It's fabulously aromatic on the nose showing passionfruit, kiwifruit, apricot and lime peel aromas, leading to a flavoursome palate offering bright fruit flavours with vibrant acidity, finishing lingering and lively" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Feb 2023
Classically bright and vibrant Marlborough Sauvignon. Perfumed with nettle ripe tropical fruits which are also evident on the palate along with limey flavours and a rich minerality - classic Marlborough Sauvignon. The wine is sappy, fresh, clean and delicious.
Everything you want from a Marlborough sauvignon, and more! Judiciously sourced from three vineyard sites between Waihopai, Wairau and Awatere Valleys.
The vines are trained to give maximum flavour during growing season. Grapes are picked and immediately gently pressed, and cool fermented to enhance the unique aromatics and flavours. The various parcels are then blended together to create this generous, full-textured style. The varied soils add a distinctive minerality to this wine.
Food Pairing: An adaptable wine that is superb with an array of different dishes such as Thai fishcakes, grilled Dover sole or a goats cheese salad.
