A deliciously rich & creamy wine
Description
Cream, Oak, Peach
The Tea Tree Gully Chardonnay displays crisp citrus aromas on the nose. The palate is rich and creamy with a long lingering finish. A Chardonnay suited to rich creamy dishes, that can be enjoyed on any occasion.
The Tea Tree Gully runs through the Mt. Lofty Ranges in the Adelaide foothills. Our wines represent the culture, spirit and traditions of the pioneering travellers who negotiated this rugged countryside. The wine is striking with impressive fruit concentration.
The Tea Tree Gully Chardonnay was produced from fruit grown in the Riverland area, South Australia. This Chardonnay underwent fermentation in stainless steel, preserving the bright, fresh character of the grape. The wine was then aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels, prior to blending and bottling. A key component in developing its depth and texture is the three months of lees contact, which enhances the wine with a creamy mouthfeel and adds complexity to the palate.
Food Pairing: Salmon fish cakes with spring salad or grilled chicken with a white wine cream sauce.
