Dry, Nectarine, Strawberry
"This Central Otago Rosé features a silky, impeccable mouthfeel carrying fresh, lifted aromas and a dry finish, with a lingering touch of pepper" Candice Chow, Wine Chat

"Delicate and restrained, the bouquet reveals cranberry, crunchy apple, oatmeal, and subtle flinty nuances. It's sleek and linear in the mouth, offering fine flow and vibrant acidity, finishing elegant and persistent. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2026
"Pale salmon with a bronze tinge in colour, it opens with peach and rose petal aromas, before tart redcurrant, slight liquorice, and rhubarb. The palate is ripe and succulent, with a rounded, creamy texture that carries red fruit, dried tarragon, and a fresh acidity. A delicate mineral line weaves through rhubarb and wild strawberry flavours before finishing fine, chalky, and lightly textural. Altogether, it's a sophisticated sipper, perfect for pre-dinner drinks on the deck with aperitifs. Drink now to 2028" Sammy Wilkinson, The Wine Writer
"A silky texture touches the palate first framed by flavours of pink and red apple skin, peach and a touch of citrus peel. On the second and third taste the textures from super fine skin tannins and a backbone of acidity deliver a wine of flavour and satisfaction, length and readiness. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2027+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Mar 2026
This fresh, mineral wine is made entirely from Pinot Noir. Hand-picked fruit and minimal skin contact ensures a brilliantly pale and clear wine with intense aromas of fresh floral notes, peach, red apple, hints of guava. The palate is textural with pithy phenolics, candied red apple, red berry fruits and pink grapefruit, with some tropical (guava and passionfruit) notes on the finish. A textural wine with fresh acidity and phenolics adding interest to the fresh fruit profile. Dry and salivating – an excellent food match.
The Life Series captures the essence of Te Kano’s Estate vineyards, using parcels of fruit from across our subregions to give a snapshot of the season and our unique expression of Central Otago.
The Northburn vineyard forms the backbone of this unique wine with a portion of Jerome fruit from Bannockburn. Northburn adds bright fresh acids and delicate flavours and aromas. The highly reflective Schist soils allow for even ripening and lend a distinctly mineral character balanced by ripe fruit generosity.
Hand-picked grapes were delicately pressed to ensure the minimum of colour was extracted from the skins. A very cool and long fermentation in stainless steel was used to preserve the delicate aromatics and elegant structure typical of this wine, while a period of 4 months on light lees builds mid palate texture and depth.
