Description
Dry, Nectarine, Strawberry
"Elegant and fabulously expressed, the enticing bouquet shows sweet strawberry, melon, nectarine and white floral notes, followed by a finely flowing palate that's juicy and persistent. It's beautifully framed by fleshy texture and zesty acidity, making it super tasty and lingering. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2024
"Bright, even, pale blush pink. The nose is fresh, with aromas of cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, petals and a touch of herb. Medium-bodied, dry to taste, aromas of raspberry lead the palate with red cherry, pomegranate, petals and a touch of thyme. The fruit is fresh and pure, lively and cleansing acidity flows effortlessly to a sustained floral nuanced closing. An elegantly expressed Pinot Noir Rosé with finesse and a refreshing palate" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Aug 2024
"A delicious wine with a brightness and freshness showcasing flavours of fresh raspberry and yellow plum flesh, some charry and fine lees textures. Balanced, well made and delicious. Best drinking from 2024 through end of summer 2027" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sep 2024
This fresh, mineral wine is made entirely from Pinot Noir. Handpicked fruit and minimal skin contact ensures a brilliantly pale and clear wine with intense aromas of watermelon passionfruit, guava and pink grapefruit. The palate shows fresh stone fruit, red apple and a defined minerality.
The Life Series captures the essence of Te Kano’s Estate vineyards, using parcels of fruit from across our subregions to give a snapshot of the season and our unique expression of Central Otago.
The Northburn vineyard forms the backbone of this unique wine, with bright fresh acids and delicate flavours and aromas. The highly reflective Schist soils allow for even ripening and lend a distinctly mineral character balanced by ripe fruit generosity.
Favourable early season conditions in Central Otago delivered strong canopy growth. A hot dry summer turned cool around harvest, allowing for extended maturation time.
100% Pinot Noir, mixed clones. Handpicked grapes were delicately pressed to ensure the minimum of colour was extracted from the skins. A very cool and long fermentation in stainless steel was used to preserve the delicate aromatics and elegant structure typical of this wine, while a period of time on light lees built mid palate texture and depth.
