"Bright, even, very pale yellow. The nose is expressive and lifted, with aromas of gooseberry, lime and zest, nettle and lemongrass. Medium-light bodied, aromas of gooseberry and lime melded with lychee, frangipani, nettle, lemongrass and lime zest. The aromatics are expressive and detailed, flowing effortlessly on a crisp acid line. Subtle creaminess fills out the palate, lending a pure and long finish. Overlooking the ocean in dry and windswept Blind River, we grow our grapes in harsh conditions. Our grapes enjoy the region’s long sunshine hours, while the ocean breeze keeps things cooler and drier. Once picked, they are gently pressed and cool fermented to retain the vibrant fruit characters.
