Description
Dry, Floral, Pear
"Brightly expressed and instantly appealing, the wine shows Asian pear, rockmelon, feijoa and white floral aromas on the nose, leading to a juicy palate that's finely flowing and lingering. Splendidly supported by vibrant acidity, finishing long and refreshing. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2024

"Aromatic and enticing with a bouquet of spice and ripe white fleshed fruits, white nectarine, green pear and apple. There’s a light saline mineral quality and quince highlight. An abundance of flavours engages the palate immediately with fruit spices and flavours that reflect the bouquet, as well as a orange peel quality. Just dry, fleshy textured perfectly weighted, plenty of acidity and ready to drink from late 2024 through 2027. Outstanding value" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sep 2024
"Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is softly full, with aromas of Nashi pear, apple, seashells, white floral and ginger. Medium-full bodied and off-dry to taste, with aromas of ripe pear and apple intermixed with quince, ginger, honeysuckle, and seashell minerals. The sweetness provides a round mouthfeel and weight to the palate, unfolding spice, adding opulence, crisp acidity refreshes and lending a moreish closing. This is a well-blanced, opulent Pinot Gris with appealing aromatics and affortability" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, Sep 2024
Fresh Pear. Juicy Stone fruit and a hint of Ginger spice . Refreshing Acidity. Aromatic Nose, coastal Influences.
Overlooking the ocean in dry and windswept Blind River, we grow our grapes in harsh conditions. Our grapes enjoy the region’s long sunshine hours, while the ocean breeze keeps things cooler and drier. Once picked, they are gently pressed and cool fermented to retain the fruit characteristics. The wine was aged for 3 months on light lees before bottling.
Food Pairing: Enjoy on its own, with friends, or it pairs perfectly with fragrant Thai food.
