Description
Cherry, Oak, Plum
Aromas of dates, star anise, dark plum, ripe fresh figs, kirsch-soaked cherries, and gentle vanilla pod. Flavours of Damson plum, tart cherry, cranberry, clove, allspice, bay laurel, cocoa, fresh acidity, and structured tannins.
The grapes were hand harvested, whole bunch pressed and underwent wild fermentation in old and 16% new French oak barrels for 10 months before bottling.
Food Pairing: Mushroom risotto, Osso Buco, Margherita Pizza.
