This red blend has aromas of cherries and cedar wood with raspberries, mild game, and forest floor. On the palate it tastes of bright rhubarb, cherry stones, kirsch and acidity with crunch like royal gala apples.
A red blend of 65% Sangiovese and 35% Shiraz grown in Clare Valley, Australia.
Blocks of Sangiovese and Shiraz from the same vineyard were picked and fermented together on skins for 14 days and rested in stainless steel for a couple of months before hitting neutral barriques for 6 months.
