Description
Dry, Kiwifruit, Lime
"Aromatic and inviting, the bouquet presents aromas of kiwifruit, green apple, and lemon zest, followed by a lively palate filled with juicy fruit flavours. Well-structured with fine texture and crisp acidity, offering excellent drinking. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jun 2025
"Varietal, punchy, fruity and enticing bouquet of tropical fruits and citrus, some fresh green herbs and bell-pepper. Crisp and just dry with a core of ripe fruit flavours that mirror the bouquet, a decent acid line and varietal frame adding to the length and finish. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2027" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sep 2025
A ‘lighter’ way to enjoy the intensity and tropical flavours of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Pale green. Fragrant aromas of blackcurrant, green capsicum and fresh citrus. A crisp and refreshing palate bursting with ripe gooseberry and herbaceous nettle flavours, complimented by subtle mineral notes. This wine is ‘lighter’ in alcohol than the standard equivalent, with no compromise on flavour intensity or complexity. Perfect for drinking immediately or over the next three years.
The fruit was sourced from selected vineyard sites located in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. Grapes were harvested at optimum flavour intensity before the sugar levels became too high. This allowed the production of a wine lower in alcohol but rich in flavour. The grapes were machine harvested at cool temperatures and processed immediately to minimise skin contact. The juice was cool fermented in stainless steel to retain varietal character and freshness. Fermentation was stopped to retain some residual sugar in order to give the wine palate weight.
Food Pairing: An ideal lunch time wine or aperitif. A perfect match for seafood or a fresh summer salad.
