Herbal, Strawberry, Unoaked
Bright crimson in the glass. Raspberry and strawberry leaf aromas with notes of blueberry, sage and white pepper on the nose. Rhubarb and cranberry flavours with a fine textured tannin finish.
A cool winter with lighter than average rainfall set the scene for the 2019 vintage. The mild, dry weather through the growing season produced grapes with great flavour concentration. The summer was full of sunshine and warm, dry weather which was perfect for ripening the grapes. The resulting Garnacha is a wine of vibrancy and beautiful aromatics.
A fresh Garnacha made in a ‘Joven’ style; unoaked and bottled early as a juicy, lively wine. The Grenache ripened early, allowing us to co-ferment with a small amount (5%) of Tempranillo. Some whole bunches were included in the ferment to add spice and texture to
the wine.
Food Pairing: Enjoy with grilled calamari salad, roasted mushroom & thyme bruschetta.
