Roots Marlborough Dry Gin (700ml)

Description

A crisp and robust ‘London Dry’ style gin. Batch distilled in a boutique 200L copper pot still after a 24 hour activated maceration in a sustainable neutral base spirit. A juniper forward palate followed by a fresh grapefruit and hop zest balanced against a highly aromatic kawakawa and gorse nose. Finishing long and clean with a silky mouthfeel and lingering coriander note.

Each run is craft distilled in a small 200L copper pot still. A truly boutique operation where every process and principle is controlled by batch, by the teams own fair hands.

Harvested, distilled and bottled on estate from either direct sourced, wild foraged or organic botanicals: Wild juniper (Macedonia), grapefruit zest (Gisborne, NZ), coriander seed (Hawke's Bay, NZ), organic hops (Motueka, NZ), wild kawakawa fruit (Kaikoura, NZ) and wild gorse flower (Marlborough, NZ).
