The word “ROHE” means territory. This range was created to demonstrate the diversity of Marlborough through its unique and distinct sub-regional sites. We strive to re-define the future of Marlborough and represent a natural evolution in quality. Sourcing the best fruit from multiple sites within each sub-region, the ROHE wines encapsulate how the influence of climate, proximity to the sea and soil type can create vastly different wine characteristics from within the broader Marlborough region. The ROHE range is terroir in a bottle, showcasing a sense of place, unlocking the regions true potential.

Blind River is the driest, coolest, and most wind-swept subregion located on Marlborough's Southern Coast. The soil is free draining, and a mix of stone and clay.

2026 rewarded preparation, precision and pace. After a cooler mid-season slowed ripening, fine autumn conditions unlocked outstanding flavour development and balance. Careful vineyard stewardship and a coordinated harvest ensured every vineyard was picked at it’s optimum ripeness, producing wines with remarkable purity, concentration and a vibrant sense of place. Dillon’s Point Sauvignon Blanc was harvested exactly when we wanted with ripe fruit characters, then gently pressed. We used a variety of yeast strains for fermentation in stainless steel, chosen to enhance palate weight. Warmer ferment temperatures are used, which enhances mouthfeel and the trademark thiol characteristics unique to this sub-region. After fermentation, the wine was kept on light lees for three months, prior to bottling.
