Dry, Pear, Spice

Ripe orchard pear and crispy red apple with aromatic spring blossom. Round and lucisous with layers of juicy yellow pear, ripe citrus and subtle spice. This wine has a crisp and full mouthfeel with a silky smooth finish.

The fruit was selected from vineyards in Marlborough’s Wairau and Awatere Valleys. Each vineyard yielded was carefully managed and the fruit monitored throughout the entire 2026 growing season by Heather and the team.

On a cool evening, the vineyard was machine harvested and the grapes brought quickly to the winery where they were destemmed and pressed.

The juice was cold settled in small stainless steel tanks and fermented at cool temperatures to enhance the purity of varietal flavours.

The wine was left on lees with regular, gentle stirring prior to delicate blending.

Minimal fining and handling before filtration and bottling ensures this Pinot Gris shows a true expression of the grape variety.
