The 2021 RICKSHAW Chardonnay is seamlessly bright. Aromas of pear, Golden Delicious apples, dried mango, and honeysuckle are complimented with hints of vanilla. There is a textured and layered weight on the mid-palate that leads to a pleasant oaky finish that is balanced with vibrant acidity, keeping the wine fresh.

We’ve honed in on our vineyard sources and refined our winemaking to offer the consistently delicious and affordable RICKSHAW Chardonnay.
During the season of 2021, California overall received almost no rain. The summer had mild temperatures which allowed for the fruit to hang a bit longer than usual. All of the vineyards and fruit load were managed according to how much water was available for that specific vineyard. There were a few hot spells early in the fall which quickened ripening and accelerated harvest season.
