Richmond Plains Hawkes' Bay Organic Syrah has been handcrafted to produce this exciting wine. Delicious dark berry fruits flavours with spicy and peppery notes.  A big wine with concentrated sweet fruit and lots of fine tannins. Beautiful subtle oak characters linger on the long finish.  A youthful wine now it will age gracefully for number of years.

The grapes were hand harvested, de-stemmed, crushed and then transferred to an open top fermenter. Traditional hand plunging of the cap was carried out throughout the wild ferment. The juice was then matured in French oak barrels where it aged for 18 months. The wine went through full malolactic fermentation in the spring and then blended, filtered and bottled.
