Dark fruit flavours with a touch of oak and soft, supple tannins. A blend of 99% Merlot lifted with a hint of Cabernet Franc for added colour and floral aromas. Food friendly and very drinkable now, but will cellar comfortably for 4-6 years if you can hold out that long.

Destemmed to tank. Part hand plunged and part pumped over. Pressed to tank for MLF then part matured in oak barrels prior to bottling.

Spur pruned VSP trellis cropped at 2.7-3.1 kg/vine. Trimmed fruit zone leaf plucked. Machine harvested at 21.3-23.5⁰ Brix.
