Description
- Black Doris plum
- Blueberry compote
- Toasted spice
- Succulent
"Offering excellent value, this tasty wine shows Black Doris plum, blueberry compote, violet and toasted spice aromas on the nose, leading to a succulent palate that is beautifully weighted and flowing. It is flavoursome and generous, making it highly enjoyable" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2019
In the glass this Tempranillo displays an intense red cherry colour with violet hues, insinuating youth. On the nose, there are aromas of intense fruit flavours reminiscent of red berries, blackberries and plums, alongside violets and liquorice. There is good structure on the palate, well rounded, fruity sensation. The aftertaste is long, tasty and pleasant.
This wine was produced in selected vineyards in several locations of Castille, Central Spain. The wine was fermented for 12 days in stainless steel tanks and underwent temperature controlled maceration in order to preserve the aromas. This is a young wine with no barrel aging. It has remained two months in the bottle, prior to its launching.
Food Pairings: Tapas. Cold meats: chorizo, lomo... Paella, and tomato-sauced pasta. Medium-cured cheeses. It is great as an appetizer and by the glass.
