"Fresh, high energy, entry level wine with bright, herbal and tangy flavours. Accessible now and probably best enjoyed within a few years" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Mar 2023
Bright ruby red in colour, the wine opens with lifted perfume and fresh summer berries. An elegant vintage has given us softness and focus. It is very fragrant and attractive with fresh red berries, underpinned with turned earth, subtle spice and savoury notes, which add to complexity. The fresh berries continue on the palate with ripe cranberry, fresh cherry and strawberry, creating a bright vibrancy and crunchie freshness. Soft, fine-grained tannin also intertwine on the palate, creating texture and poise. This is an attractive wine that is immediately appealing but will also reward with a few years in the cellar.
1 x Loop Road Central Otago Pinot Noir 2023
Awarded 94/100 Points: Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
Awarded 92/100 Points: James Suckling, Jamessuckling.com
Awarded 90/100 Points: Erin Larkin, The Wine Advocate
"A very good bouquet with a newer, almost raw freshness, youth, and power. Flavours suggest raspberry and plum, roses and dried herbs, a finer flinty mineral quality and savoury complexity. Dry, firm taut and high energy on the palate. Flavours reflect the bouquet, firm ripe tannins, and backbone of acidity. Well made, lengthy and still very new, needing some development time with best drinking from 2027 through 2037" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
A fresh Pinot Noir with strawberries, raspberries, and hints of smoke on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with fine tannins, spirited acidity, and silken fruit notes with a touch of wild thyme. Organic.
1 x Framingham 'F-Series' Marlborough Pinot Noir 2021
Awarded 96/100 Points: Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
Awarded 93/100 Points: James Suckling, Jamessuckling.com
"Pure, ripe, fresh, varietal, complex and new. Aromas and flavours of ripe organic farmers market cherries and black currant fruits, there's a fine clay mineral quality and layers of barrel spice with vanilla and clove highlights. Equally pure and vibrant textures from chalky tannins and a sweet acid line, and ajudicious use of barrel all leading to a lengthy complex and softly smoky wood finish. Great drinking from 2024 through 2034+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
"Aromas of white smoke, red cherries, bark & moss. Medium to full bodied with silky tannins and texture. Bright, sparkling acidity lifts upthe spiced & savoury palate. Dynamic. Seriously Tasty. Drink or Hold" James Suckling
