Bright ruby red in colour, the wine opens with lifted perfume and fresh summer berries. An elegant vintage has given us softness and focus. It is very fragrant and attractive with fresh red berries, underpinned with turned earth, subtle spice and savoury notes, which add to complexity. The fresh berries continue on the palate with ripe cranberry, fresh cherry and strawberry, creating a bright vibrancy and crunchie freshness. Soft, fine-grained tannin also intertwine on the palate, creating texture and poise. This is an attractive wine that is immediately appealing but will also reward with a few years in the cellar.

"A very good bouquet with a newer, almost raw freshness, youth, and power. Flavours suggest raspberry and plum, roses and dried herbs, a finer flinty mineral quality and savoury complexity. Dry, firm taut and high energy on the palate. Flavours reflect the bouquet, firm ripe tannins, and backbone of acidity. A fresh Pinot Noir with strawberries, raspberries, and hints of smoke on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with fine tannins, spirited acidity, and silken fruit notes with a touch of wild thyme. Organic.

"Pure, ripe, fresh, varietal, complex and new. Aromas and flavours of ripe organic farmers market cherries and black currant fruits, there's a fine clay mineral quality and layers of barrel spice with vanilla and clove highlights. Equally pure and vibrant textures from chalky tannins and a sweet acid line, and ajudicious use of barrel all leading to a lengthy complex and softly smoky wood finish.
