Brilliant ruby with purple highlights. Aromas of morello cherry, wild strawberry, violet and mountain herbs. Medium-bodied, juicy and beautifully balanced – ripe red fruit, silky tannins and crisp acidity, finishing with a savoury, almost salty mineral edge. 

Poderi dal Nespoli is nestled in the Bidente Valley, the inaugural Bio-Symbiotic district in Italy, gracing the hills of Forlì at 177 meters above sea level, an area that seamlessly connects the Apennines to the Tuscan border and the Riviera Romagnola. Established in 1929 the Ravaioli family now manage this historical estate with Mondodelvino Group and employ state-of-the-art technologies to bring exceptional quality, artisanal Romagna wines to the world. This 100% Sangiovese from the estate’s organically managed vineyards is hand harvested in late September with a simple vinification in stainless steel to preserve the pure aromas of morello cherries, violets and wild mountain herbs. Medium-bodied, appealing and fruit forward this is an extremely versatile wine with supple tannins for everyday enjoyment with a wide variety of pasta, meat and cheese dishes. A wine true to its Romagna roots that outperforms most Chianti at a similar price.

Food Pairing: Perfect with ragù pasta, grilled pork, pizza margherita or mixed salumi.
