Bright fruit flavours with racy acidity

Description

Dry, Floral, Pear

"It's elegantly scented on the nose, showing green pear, fig, crunchy apple, and jasmine nuances, followed by a splendidly focused palate offering bright fruit flavours with racy acidity, making it crisp-dry and lingering" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2026

Scale_-_Dry

"Deepening yellow and golden hues lead to a bouquet of peach and sweet citrus peel, there’s a saline quality and floral layer with a light leesy complexity. A dry wine on the palate showcasing flavours of stone fruits and some sweet citrus, honeysuckle and yellow flowers, a touch of mineral and a fine lees finish. There’s a gentle phenolic set at the back palate adding length. Balanced and well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2029" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Mar 2026

Very lively pale gold, with greenish reflections. Very clean and expressive, with citric and white fruit notes. Aromas of small white flowers also appear. Very fresh and agile.
Rounded with the variety’s typical structure and a tasty, persistent end. Complete, refreshing and very agreeable.

High-quality vineyards close to the winery, in Rías Baixas in Val do Salnés (Pontevedra). Oceanic, with gentle average temperatures and very high rainfall (over 1,500 mm/year). The 2020 vintage enjoyed regular weather and a warm, dry end-of-cycle which helped the harvesting. The grape entered the winery in optimum sanitary condition. Granite origin, quartz-rich with sandy texture. 100% Albariño, from 20 to 25 years old, grown on both trellising and the traditional espalier training systems.

By hand, in small boxes. This crop’s harvest, earlier than usual, mainly took place in the first two weeks of September. 14 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine was presented to the market after resting in stainless steel tanks for a few weeks.

Food Pairing: All types of fish and seafood, cooked in different ways: on the grill, boiled, stewed, fried...Seafood rice and pasta dishes. Sushi, salads and cold snacks.
