Description

Dry, Pear, Vanilla

"It's delightfully ripe and inviting on the nose with aromas of ripe peach, rockmelon, Nashi pear, and jasmine. The palate delivers bright fruit intensity, a supple texture, and crisp acidity, making it instantly appealing and fabulously drinkable. At its best: now to 2028" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2025

Scale_-_Dry

"An oily mouthfeel packed with vibrant fruit and salivating acidity, dusty pollen texture carries to a refreshing finish" Candice Chow, Wine Chat

"Varietal, fruity and flavourful with apple and pear, there’s a steely quality highlighting a touch of citrus and even a whisper of leesy complexity. Just dry on the palate with medium+, lots of freshness and lift. Balanced and well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2028" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Jan 2026

Delicate, honeyed and elegantly balanced Marlborough Pinot Gris. Lifted aromas of ripe pear, white peach, and delicate florals, with hints of spice from the exceptional 2025 growing season. The palate is generous, with a silky textured layer delivering juicy stone-fruit flavours, subtle citrus, and a touch of minerality for balance.

Every glass of OTU wine sustainably captures the spirit of the wild Marlborough coast, where our wines thrive in the windswept sea air and clean mountain water.

Our sea swept coastal Estate is set where the ancient Otūwhero River meets the wild coast of the premium sub-region of the Awatere Valley in Marlborough New Zealand.

Excellent warm and dry conditions in Marlborough meant fruit could be left on the vine to develop richer, denser flavours. Harvest 2025 allowed the fruit to hang on the vine until fully ripe and produced clean, bright fruit with lovely acid balance.
