Northrow Hawke's Bay Rosé 2023

Dry, Grapefruit, Melon

This Hawkes Bay Rosé features bright notes of strawberries and pink grapefruit, with a hint of watermelon. Made from predominantly Merlot (90%) and blended with other Hawkes Bay red varieties which add layers of flavour to the wine. The red grapes are pressed very gently to avoid too much colour pick up from the skins which results in a beautiful pale pink Rosé with copper undertones. Fermentation was conducted in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures to produce an aromatic and refreshing wine.

A cooler Hawkes Bay Summer in 2023 kept the Rosé grapes fresh with good natural acidity and vibrant fruit flavours. We target specific vineyard sites in cooler sub-regions of Hawke’s Bay to ensure the red grapes harvested for the Rosé are fresh and flavoursome.
