Golden and brilliant in the glass, this wine is full bodied and softly textural with good weight from ripe fruit balanced by judicious use of toasty oak. Beautifully dry with a long, persistent finish topped with a hint of oak, this well balanced and attractive wine combines the best of ripe Marlborough fruit with complexity and weight from time in oak barrels.

Hand-picked and whole bunch pressed directly to 30% new French barriques, with the remaining juice pressed directly to 1 & 2-year-old French barriques, then fermented with indigenous yeasts.
