Bright pale lemon in the glass, this barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc highlights its oak influence with layered aromas of passionfruit, guava and blackcurrant, underscored by subtle notes of toasted wood, fresh coffee bean and a gentle herbal lift. The palate is rich and textural, where vibrant tropical fruit is complemented by savoury complexity from French oak, with hints of toast and finely integrated spice adding depth. Lees ageing and partial malolactic fermentation bring a creamy, rounded mouthfeel, leading to a long, weighted finish that balances freshness with structure. Approachable now for its generosity, the wine also has the depth to evolve gracefully with careful cellaring over the next five years.
