A fresh sea breeze, with notes of oystershell and seaweed give way for intense passionfruit aromas complemented by layers of ripe stone fruit and exotic guava. The interplay between the oceanic and tropical elements creates a complex, inviting aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine delivers concentrated flavours of tropical fruit balanced by a vibrant, morish acidity that keeps the wine lively and engaging. A lingering saltiness on the finish recalls the coastal notes detected on the nose, enhancing the overall sense of place of this exceptional Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
Marlborough Grape Vintage 2025 saw favourable weather patterns that contributed to excellent fruit quality and robust yields across varieties. The region experienced a strong flowering period throughout December, resulting in record-breaking yields in some areas. During the ripening season, the combination of warm, dry conditions and healthy canopies produced fruit with excellent concentration, flavour, and balance.
