Mystery Marlborough Rosé 2024 (01)
A harmonious, easy-drinking wine
A harmonious, easy-drinking wine
Description
This Marlborough Rosé, crafted primarily from Pinot Noir, comes from the fertile soils of the Southern Valleys. It opens with aromas of ripe strawberries and floral notes, unveiling delightful flavours of ripe red berries, complimented by hints of cream on the finish. A soft acidity balances the smooth, well-rounded finish, making for a harmonious, easy-drinking wine.
The fruit was machine harvested in the cool of the evening when the fruit was at peak maturity. The grapes spent only a few hours on skins to extract the delicate colour hen carefully pressed. After settling the juice was fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel at cooler temperatures to retain fruit flavour and freshness.
Food Pairing: A perfect match for antipasto or lightly spiced Asian dishes.
