Gisborne’s warmer climate, coastal influence and fertile soils result in a softer, more delicate style of Sauvignon Blanc with layers of ripe fruit and subtle savoury nuances.
After an excellent growing season the grapes were machine harvested and arrived to the winery in superb condition. The wine was fermented cool in stainless steel fermenters. Yeasts were carefully selected to emphasise the rich and tropical citrus flavours typical of a Gisborne Sauvignon Blanc.
