"Juicy, bright aromas of baked yellow apple, nectarine and white grapefruit are present, with notes of white tea and honeysuckle on the nose. The palate is crisp green apple and peach with orange cream, slight acidity and a mouthwatering finish" Wine Enthusiast, Jan 2025
Golden hued, with aromas of crisp green apples and succulent pears. On the palate, the wine shows lemon meringue, a touch of toasty vanilla and a warm, comforting nuance. Barrel fermentation in new French oak and sur lie aging add complexity and textured elegance. The addition of a small parcel of Chenin Blanc adds a refreshing note of crisp honeydew melon to balance the wine.
Winemaking: Fermented sur lie for 12 months in 28% new French oak and 61% in a combination of new and one-year-old American oak.
