- Oaked
- Baked apple
- White florals & spice
- Creamy mouth-feel
"Delightfully fruited and elegantly fragrant, showing ripe peach, green rockmelon, lemon peel and floral aromas, leading to a beautifully weighted palate offering supple texture and fine acidity. Well rounded and smooth with a lengthy succulent finish. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Dec 2022
"Full-bodied and vibrantly fruity, with generous, peachy, spicy flavours, fresh and dry. Best drinking mid-2023+" Michael Cooper
Like life, this medium bodied wine is all about the texture. A subtle, intriguing scent of baked apple, white florals and spice transfer onto a lovely creamy-smooth almost opulent palate that’s kept in check with some refreshing acidity. The wine has a long, persistent, moreish finish.
Choice Central Otago Pinot Blanc grapes were vinified using indigenous yeast and old oak barrels. The wine was seasoned with a pinch of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir to add an extra layer of nuance and complexity.
Food Pairing: Great as an aperitif, with lunch or dinner, or just something to drink and ponder. Especially good, though, with mac n cheese and some crusty fresh bread.
