Description
Blackberry, Cherry, Spice
Black Market Mystery Wines™ are simply wines we love, with the branding hidden and revealed only when it arrives at your door!
"Dark red appearance with a pink rim lead to a bouquet of youth, freshness and varietal signatures of cabernet and Merlot, dark berries and plums, black currant and olive, a soft savoury quality and stony gravel seam. Some firmness as the wine touches the palate with fine chalky tannins, plenty of polish and style, flavours of dark berries and plums, some chocolate and smoky wood tones. Balanced and well made with medium+ length and moderate complexity. A wine that can be enjoyed from today through 2029" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Mar 2025
"Looking for a top value, affordable Bordeaux? Grown in the Entre-Deux-Mers region, this deeply coloured red is mouthfilling, with blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, balanced tannins, and very good ripeness and density. Best drinking mid- 2027+" Michael Cooper
The nose is rich and developes intense aromas of black fruits (plum, cherry, blackberry) ...with spicy notes (cinnamon, pepper). Fruity and delicious on the palate, the tannins are supple with a long finish.
Food Pairing: Ideal with red meats, dishes in sauce and cheese - Between 16oC and 18oC.
