Displaying aromas of peaches, melon and light honey notes, while 100% malolactic fermentation, and 30% new oak helps round out the mouthfeel.

Using fruit from some of the oldest Chardonnay vines at Mountford Estate. The fruit was bunch pressed settled over night before being racked to a mixture of new and old barrels for natural fermentation. Post fermentation the wine was racked and left on lees for 1 month in a stainless steel tank before being filtered and bottled.

Mountford Estate's stunning 10 hectare vineyard is situated on the Eastern hillside of the Waipara Valley, highly regarded for its limestone rich soil. Whilst in the winery, winemakers place strong emphasis on attention to detail and employ traditional Burgundian methods, to produce wines of distinction.
