Description
Lemon, Oak, Pastry
"This friendly offering shows ripe stone fruit, baked fig, cashew, and citrus peel aromas on the nose, followed by a gently weighted palate delivering a supple texture and succulent fruit flavours. Well-rounded with an elegant finish. At its best: now to 2026" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2024
A full bodied, citrus driven Chardonnay. This fresh and focused Marlborough Chardonnay takes you on a journey to a late spring afternoon. Showing aromas of fresh baked lemon tart and stone fruit on the nose. The palate speaks volumes with layers of nectarine, grapefruit, and lemon zest, leaving a crisp and vital mouthfeel.
Grapes for this wine were selected from vineyard sites across the Marlborough Valley. A portion of the wine was fermented in oak and underwent malolactic fermentation. This process enhances the luscious, round palate and an expansive finish.
Food Pairing: This Chardonnay is perfect for drinking now and will continue to develop over the next few years. Delicious with creamy pasta such as Fettucine alfredo.
