Mount Langi Ghiran Cliff Edge Shiraz 2017 (Australia)

Description

A vivid Shiraz, displaying plum red with purple hue in the glass. The aromas are highly fragrant and enticing with aniseed spice and red and blue berries, perfumed with delicate florals. This Shiraz is bright and juicy with lashings of red cherry, blackberry and blue fruits coupled with powdery, savoury tannins. The palate is long and persistent finishing with lingering spice and mouth-watering freshness. Drink now until 2023.

Sourced from a selection of blocks across the historic Mount Langi Ghiran vineyard situated in the Grampians region of Victoria, where the combination of Langi’s cool climates, old vines and granite sands produce Shiraz with great intensity, purity and finesse.

The wine underwent open fermenters, plunged, portion of whole bunch fermentation which included some Pigeage (treaded by foot).

Food Pairing: Match with barbecued and roasted red meats, with pan fried winter vegetables & brocolli sprouts with a sprinkle of salt.
