Bright, medium garnet. Red and black berries, with underlying mocha and spice. The aromas carry to the palate, with bright red plums and spice adding depth to the delicate berry fruits, framed by soft tannins. Drink now to 2028.
After a wetter than usual growing season, the new year brought sunshine and the vines flourished. The Shiraz from our partnering vineyards was clean and ripe, contributing to a stunning 2023 Billi Billi Shiraz.
Whole berries processed to a combination of large concrete and smaller open-top fermenters, plunged or pumped over three times a day until alcoholic fermentation complete.
The 2023 Billi Billi Shiraz is made from qualifying grapes at a winery certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia.
