Mount Edward Central Otago Riesling 2019

This Riesling is medium weight in a off dry style. Floral and citrus aromas, some tropical notes however primarily citrus spectrum with grapefruit/tangelo pith characters, all underpinned by mineral characters and refreshing acidity.

Hand harvested in April at around 8 tonnes per hectare. The grapes were whole bunch pressed, fermented at cool temperatures using wild yeasts,  before filtration and bottling end Nov 19.

Mount Edward wines come from these unique sites, managed organically, made traditionally and given a modern progressive feel reflecting all we stand for at Mount Edward. We use Bio Gro certified organic approaches to winegrowing & producing our wines which endeavour to reflect soil and season.
