Aromatic nose with outstanding aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberries and figs. Aromas of crème de cassis meld with mild notes of leather and dark chocolate, which are very characteristic of Syrah from Colchagua. The palate is well balanced with rich acidity, incredibly smooth tannins, tremendous structure, and generous volume.

The vineyards that give rise to their Montes Alpha Syrah are located in two very representative zones in the Colchagua Valley, Apalta and Marchige. These two areas have soils of granitic origin in different degrees of decomposition and highly varying amounts of clay, depth, and organic matter. Apalta is very heterogeneous, with zones that are highly influenced by the Tinguiririca River and others influenced by floods and the detachment o fmaterial from high above in the mountains.
