Vintage 2022 is the second time we have produced a spectacular Gewürztraminer from our Fareham Lane Vineyard – Fareham Lane as the fruit was once again simply too good to ignore.

The 2022 Gewürztraminer was the prize of the vintage as the fruit was well proportioned, beautifully ripe and tasted like Turkish Delight straight off the vine.

After being hand harvested and gently handled into the winery, the juice was fermented in new and older Acacia Barrels – adding that extra luxury to the palate. The wine was fermented dry and aged for 6 months before being lightly filtered prior to bottling in December.

Maker’s Cut is identified by our winemakers in the vineyard and worthy to stand alone. There are no limits to this wine, other than it’s made exclusively in small quantities, making it rare, to be enjoyed by a lucky few.
