Description
Dry, Floral, Lemon
"Exquisite and pristine, the delicately fragrant bouquet shows lemon sorbet, lime cordial, wet limestone and jasmine nuances, followed by a taut, yet finely flowing, palate that's focused and linear. Superbly structured by juicy acidity, finishing impressively long and refined. At its best: 2025 to 2034" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2024

"Aromatic, floral and fruity with core scents and flavours of red and green apple, pear and lemon. Some residual sweetness on the palate is immediately contrasted by the acid line then flavours of citrus and apple. Some fine lees adds texture and length. Well made with a medium finish, best drinking from day of purchase through 2029" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
Delicate and inviting, our Landmark Riesling opens with beautifully floral aromas and a vibrant burst of fresh lime zest. On the palate, it offers a seamless balance of acidity and a touch of fruit sweetness, stone fruit, and quince, creating a layered experience with lingering notes of citrus and a subtle mineral edge. The finish is crisp, clean, and elegantly refreshing—a true expression of this classic varietal.
Our Landmark Series is a nod to classic winemaking traditions -sprinkled with Misty’s distinctive edge. Handcrafted in small batches from our Fareham Lane vineyard, this Riesling captures the very essence of the land it hails from.
The fruit from our Fareham Lane vineyard was hand-harvested at peak ripeness to ensure optimal flavour. It was gently pressed and cool fermented to preserve its freshness and vibrant aromas. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks, and the wine was aged on its lees for three months, enhancing its texture and depth, before bottling in late winter.
Food Pairing: A zesty pad Thai or sushi platter pairs beautifully with the Riesling’s lively acidity and stone fruit flavours, while a classic German schnitzel brings out its touch of sweetness. For something richer, try duck à l’orange—the citrusy glaze highlights the wine’s vibrant lime and peach notes. Even a simple serving of fresh goat cheese with honey and figs finds a delightful match in this off-dry Riesling.
