Description
Dry, Lychee, Pineapple
"Elegantly perfumed and inviting, the bouquet reveals pineapple, lychee, rose petal and ginger spice aromas, leading to a succulent palate delivering fleshy texture together with beautifully pitched acidity, finishing persistent and flavoursome. Splendidly poised and charming. At its best: now to 2029" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Aug 2024

Bright and aromatic, our Gewürztraminer greets you with notes of lychee, citrus, and hints of ginger. On the palate, its silky texture is balanced by vibrant acidity, revealing flavours of nashi pear, honeydew melon, and Turkish delight. Finishing refreshing yet complex, with a delicate touch of spice and a crisp, mineral edge.
Hand-harvested from our Fareham Lane vineyard, whole-bunch pressed and fermented in a mixture of acacia barriques and stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged on fermentation lees for four months, enhancing its texture and depth, before fining and bottling in spring.
Our Landmark Series is a nod to classic winemaking traditions - sprinkled with Misty’s distinctive edge. Handcrafted in small batches from our Fareham Lane vineyard, this Gewürzrtraminer captures the very essence of the land it hails from.
Food Pairing: Lush and aromatic, its vibrant flavours beautifully complement spicy Indian dishes like chicken tikka masala or vegetable samosas. For a lighter option, enjoy it alongside sushi or sashimi. The wine’s subtle spice also makes it an excellent match for roasted pork with apple chutney or a Kiwi classic! Grilled sausages with caramelised onions.
