Golden and brilliant in the glass, this wine is full bodied and softly textural with good weight from ripe fruit balanced by judicious use of toasty oak. Dry and finishing long with a hint of toasty oak this well balanced and attractive wine combines the best of ripe Marlborough fruit with complexity and weight from a barrel.

Hand-picked and whole bunch pressed directly to 30% new French barriques, with the remaining juice pressed directly to 1 & 2-year-old French barriques, then fermented with indigenous yeasts.

Misty Cove’s Landmark Chardonnay is deeply influenced by old world winemaking techniques. Lovingly handcrafted in small batch quantities, they crafted this wine to reflect the “Landmark” – the attributes and characteristics of the Fareham Lane vineyard from which it originated.
